We are underway with the start of our 2025 competitive season of Florida Cross Country. Naples' Reece Lolly started his season off with a win at the Dunbar Tiger Jamboree--the senior won in a time of 16:37.80 on a hot and humid morning in Fort Myers. His teammate Jonathan Rosas Santiago was with him step by step until Lolly was able to pull away in the last 400m. Santiago ran 16:42.10. Lolly was third at the meet in 20024 and finished 12th in the FHSAA 3A Cross Country Championship.
Naples, with Lolly and Santiago's 1-2 finish, won the team title, scoring just 34 points. 1+2+9+10+12 (17) (50). Fort Myers was second with 54 and Osceola (Seminole) was third with 97.
