Oasis HS senior Jazlyn Forbes made an early preseason statement at the Dunbar Tiger Jamboree charging out to an early lead, winning by two minutes, and setting a new course record of 17:55.30. Forbes broke Addison Dempsey of Cardinal Mooney's record of 18:07.50 established in 2024. Forbes won in 2024 in 18:46 on her way to finishing third in the FHSAA 2A Championship. She is the number five-ranked girl in the preseason rankings for all divisions.
Led by senior Colbie Fullerton, the girls from Osceola (Seminole) won the girls' team title with a 63. 7+10+11+12+23 (33) (36). Fort Myers was second with 69 and Oasis was third with 75.
