This week, we decided to take a look at impactful freshman boys and girls in Florida. Reed Hagen of Fort Myers HS is the No.1-ranked freshman boy in the state with a 15:51.28. Watch for him. He is one of Florida's FUTURE STARS. WIND Runners Profile
We first saw Hagen as a fourth-grader in 2020. He was 27th in the 2020 FLYRA MS State Cross Country Championship Elementary 2K that year, running for the Fort Myers Elite Running Club ( WIND Runners Profile). Since then, he has demonstrated that he was one of the top middle school boys' distance runners in the state, and now, as a freshman, one of the top freshman boys in the state.
