
Montverde senior Miles Outerbridge had an outstanding indoor season and started his outdoor campaign with a 10.61 in the 100m at the Villages Home Meet One. Outerbridge won the FSU Relays last spring with a 20.83 (w).

The FHSAA official Track & Field season started on February 12th with early-season meets. The regular season is almost 14 weeks long and ends officially on April 10th. The District meets are scheduled for Tuesday-Saturday, April 14-18 & Monday-Saturday, April 20-25, 2026, the Regional Meet for Friday-Saturday, May 1-2, 2026, and the State Championships Wednesday-Saturday, May 6-9, 2026.

The season got underway with some Pre-Season meets earlier in the week and a few meets yesterday. Here are just a few highlights for the start of the season.
Junior Marcelo Mantecon of Belen Jesuit ran 4:17.12 in 1600m and 1:53.94 in the 800m at the Belen Pre-Season Meet.
Junior Christopher Gordon of Rockledge HS went sub-22 in the 200m with a 21.51 at the Rockledge Preseason Classic.
Senior Devin Mathews of Ocoee HS ran a 49.51 inthe 400m at the Cypress Creek (Orlando) Pre-Season Meet.
The Villages Home Meet One produced some early outstanding performances.
Senior Miles Outerbridge of Montverde ran a 10.61 in the 100m.
Junior Dasia Reed of Montverde ran an 11:66 in the 100m.
Senior Adriana Rodriguez of Montverde ran 24.37 in the 200m.
Senior Zuriyah Oats of Ocala Forest went 5.55m (18-2.5) in the Long Jump.
