Bracy's Injured Shoulder To Keep Him Out Of Golden South

The showdown between Homewood, Alabama senior Aaron Ernest and Orlando junior Marvin Bracy in the 100 meters will have to wait. Bracy has informed flrunners.com that he will not participate in the Golden South Classic due to a shoulder injury he sustained during the Braves spring football game Thursday night. Bracy and Ernest are two of the nation’s top sprinters and have ran sub 10.2 all conditions over the course of their careers.  The two are scheduled to run in the Adidas Dream 100 next month in New York City.

When asked how his absence would effect the INK Speed 4x100 relay team he wasn't sure who if anyone would replace him. Coach Ricky Argro says the likely candidate would be Jose Santana of East River who will run on the teams 4x4 relay.
