USA Youth Championship: Burns Sweeps Hurdles; Williams Takes 100, 200

Artie Burns of Miami Northwestern swept the hurdle events in his Intermediate boys age group with times of 13.90 in the 110s and 52.23 for the 400 Hurdles.

Jacksonville's Kendal Williams of Stanton Prep kept it going strong for the Florida boys in the Intermediate division by taking both the 100 Dash in 10.73 and the 200 the day before in 21.46 (into a strong headwind). Williams competed earlier in the week at the World Youth Trials, at the same track in Myrtle Beach, and finished third then. Long week!

Our MileSplit team was on-site all week for coverage with photos, videos, and results.

More Florida highlights and coverage to come... and please let me know any that we've missed in the comments.  With all of these club names it's hard to catch them all.
