St. Thomas Aquinas star Arman Hall was recognized in this week's edition of Sports Illustrated for his gold medal winning performance in the 400 Meter Dash at the IAAF World Youth Championships last month. His time of 46.01 in Lille, France was a personal best and the top time worldwide in 2011 for a high school runner. He also was the anchor on the U.S sprint medley team that ran a world record time of 1:49.47
Hall, the 4A state champion and national champion in the 400 was part of the magazines Faces in the Crowd section, a weekly feature that highlights six athletes at various levels and in various sports.
