American Heritage 12-year-old Daesha Rogers earned a national championship on Saturday with a one second victory over Julia Bounds of California in 10:43 for 3K.
13-14 Boys
FLYRA Middle School State Champ Brandon Marquez finished second in the Sub-Youth/Youth Race (first 13-year-old, so sub-youth champ) in 13:45.26 for 4K. His Central Florida Gliders teammate Boston Fitzpatrick was just behind in 13:46.
16-18 Boys
Micahel Jones of First Coast Track Club won in 15:58, 8 seconds over Tennessee native Paul Patterson. That earned Jones the Young Men's title (Patterson winning the Intermediate title)
