Florida\'s NTC to host NACAC Cross Country Championship

The National Training Center will be hosting the NACAC (North America/Central America/Caribbean) Cross Country Championship this weekend at the world class Track and Field Complex located in Clermont, Florida. Over 180 athletes from a variety of international countries will be competing to qualify for the World Cross Country Championship to be held in Japan in two weeks.

NACAC Cross Country Championship brings together athletes from the USA, Canada, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Trinidad, Costa Rica, Bermuda, Guatemala and the Virgin Islands. The USA will be represented by 6 of the top 10 USA Cross Country athletes all vying for a trip to Japan. This event promises to be an exciting day of competition with and international flavor of top contenders from each country.

Races will begin at 10:30 am with the Junior Women's 4K followed by the Junior Men's 6K (19 and under), Senior Women's 6K and Senior Men's 8K.
