Five of the top six boys from the 2013 2A Cross Country Finals graduated leaving several guys looking for the championship. Gabriel Correa of Ransom Everglades was fifth last year and is the top returner with a time of 16:00.82. If Correa can win it all, he will join Bert Irigoyen (2011 and 2012) as well as Billy Convey (1980,1981,1982) in the line of Raider's champions.  Joel Lacy and Urias Velasquez have run personal bests a hair off Correa's best. All three can go under 16 minutes.

With the 2013 cross country season coming to a close we take a sneak peek at 2014. Who will the top returners be? Who are the top teams? In 2A, will Julia Montgomery pick up her third title in three years or will Mackenzie Wilson finally get her shot. In the boys race, a ton of youngsters line the top spot. Which one will win their first state championship?
