If you spend a lot of time outdoors, you can’t help but notice certain consistencies in weather patterns. In New England, for example, mid-October has long been known for its “Indian Summer.” Just when those Yankees feel they are due for some well-needed cooling off, they are slammed with unseasonably dry, hot weather. 

The Atlantic Sun Conference announced on Wednesday that the University of North Florida's men's cross country runner Chris Haynes was selected A-Sun Runner of the Week for his accomplishments over the weekend. Haynes became the first runner under head coach Jeff Pigg to win Runner of the Week conference honors and the third Osprey in Division I history to win A-Sun weekly accolades.
