Several Virginian collegiates performed exceptionally well at the first annual North America, Central America, and Caribbean Athletic Cross Country Championship. William & Mary freshmen Dave Mock, University of Virginia freshmen Emily Harrison, and Virginia Intermont College junior Fernando Cabada all represented the United States in the NACAC Championships, which were held in Orlando, Florida. The three runners were selected to the U.S. team based off being the top non-IAAF World Championship qualifiers from last month\'s USA Cross Country Championships.
The Junior Boys race the showcased NACAC US dominance. The team swept the top six positions behind the 19:51 by PA\'s David Mock. Florida\'s Jenny Barringer led the girls Junior team to victory.
Central Florida\'s own Jenny Barringer walked away with the NACAC championship on her home turf. Barringer won the 4K race against international competition on the brutal cross country course at the National Triathlon Training Center in Clermont. Tim McLeod took 2nd and Alex Miletich 4th in the Boys Junior 6K.

The first North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Cross Country Championships will make its debut onto the international calendar this Sunday at the US National Training Center in Clermont, FL. Floridians representing Team USA in the junior race will be: Jenny Barringer, Alex Miletich, and former Floridian Tim McLeod.
