Meet Information
Registration:
All Registration will be done through fl.milesplit.com. Registration will CLOSE Tuesday, April 10th at 8:00PM. All athletes participating in the District Meet must be entered by this time No additions will be accepted after registration closes. All SCRATCHES must be submitted by NOON on Thursday, April 12th to Erik Lipham at liphaeri@berkeleyprep.org. After the Thursday deadline, all athletes entered into an event must compete in that event (or at least start). Any athlete that does not participate in an event in which he/she is entered, will be scratched from all remaining events, including relays.
There is a 4 athlete limitation to all individual events and 1 relay team per school
Advancement Rules:
The first four contestants in each individual event and the first four teams in each relay event will advance to the Regional Meet (Thursday, April 19th at Astronaut HS in Titsuville). All Ties will be broken for advancing.
Field Events (Horizontal Jumps and Throws:
The best 8 distances in each preliminary event (first 3 throws and jumps) will move on to finals for an additional 3 throws or jumps. Best mark from all 6 distances will be scored.
Preliminary Events:
The winner of each heat plus the next fastest times, up to 8 athletes per event, will move on to finals.
Non-Preliminary Events:
All heats against time, the fastest 4 athletes will advance to the Regional Meet
Awards:
The District Champion and Runner-up will receive trophies at the conclusion of the event. The top 8 athletes / relay teams in each event will receive ribbons. In an attempt to reward athletic accomplishment, we will present the top 8 athletes on an award stand in the field on the front straight-away following each event.

Parking on campus will be the same as in previous meets we have held here at Berkeley: buses are to park on the dirt lot next to the theater, and visitors can park there also.
Cost is $6.00 (FHSAA)
Team tents are to be set up behind the home bleachers on the field.
