Welcome to the Newsome Wolves Cross Country Invitational!
We invite you and your teams to the Newsome Wolves Invitational
Date: Saturday, September 7th, 2013
Place: Newsome High School, 16550 Fishhawk Blvd, Lithia 33547.
Course: The 5K course will begin on the field outside the football/track stadium. The 2 loop course is varied terrain including grass, dirt and some trails.
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. Girls Varsity (7 runners only)
8:30 a.m. Boys Varsity (7 runners only)
9:00 a.m. Girls JV followed by Boys JV
9:45 a.m. Awards
Awards: Varsity: Team awards for Champion and runner-up teams. Ribbons for top 15 Girls and Boys
JV: 1St place trophy for Boys and Girls Champion teams. Ribbons for Top 10 Girls and Boys
Entry Fees: $70 per school. $40:00 for schools entering 1 team. This fee also covers your JV teams.
Please make checks payable to Newsome High School and mail to Newsome High School, Attn: Orlando Greene.
Registration: Please confirm your participation in the Newsome Wolves Invitational by registering your team online at www.flrunners.com. Editing of rosters need to be completed by Wednesday, September 4th at 11:59p.m. Please make every effort to complete any roster changes online by the deadline. No fax or phone entries will be accepted.
Parking: $2:00 per vehicle. Please let your parents and fans know ahead of time. Coaches can use their Western Conference cards or school ID for entry.
Concessions: Our concession stand will be open for drinks and light snacks.
T- Shirts: Newsome Wolves Invitational T-shirts will be available for sale for $15:00.
