Information from the Host School:
Districts Track Meet will be held at Southridge Stadium on April 17th 2014. Below you will find the information for event assignments and the schedule for the meet. Please remember that your teams will be stopped and checked at the stadium entrance for the District entry list verification. Anyone that is a team manager (4 Total) will need to be with the coach as the teams enter the stadium. They will not be allowed in without the Head Coach. All teams will enter and sit on the east side of the stadium(Bus Drop off on east side) and all spectators will sit on the west side. Athletes will not be allowed in the bleachers on the west side with the fans. Any athlete that is on the west side will be subject to disqualification. Coaches, make sure you monitor your athletes at all times. They will not be allowed in the school at all, or to re-enter the meet if they are not in uniform. If they leave, they will have to pay to re-enter. Coaches are advised that all FHSAA Track & Field rules will be followed and enforced. If you have any questions please check your FHSAA 2014 Rules Book and bring the question and the book to the coaches meeting. To cut down on confusion, please follow these requests to ensure the safety of the coaches and athletes and the integrity of the meet. Registration is available on Fl.Runners. The registration period ends April 12th, 2014 (as listed on the website). Concessions will be available for athletes, but as always they should bring their own prepared snacks and lunch. Tickets to enter the meet will cost $6.00 and the gates will open at 9:00 a.m.
Only GMAC coaches that are paid by MDCPS (Columbus Excluded) are allowed to get into the event as coaches and interact with athletes. Please do not put the meet officials in a position to ask a non-paid volunteer coach to leave the area. We will be using Miss Cohns List. All coaches will have a wrist band for easy movement. No uniform on an athlete or wrist band on a coach = no entrance to field/track area. Any questions contact Shawn P. Carney A.D.

Each school will run both, Girls and Boys. Please have 2 coaches prepared to help work the event. Bring Measuring Tapes, Markers for the field, and anything else you will need to run and officiate your event.
