The Alligator Lake Invitational will consist of a High School & Middle School. The high school 5k will have a two Varsity races and one JV race. A Green Varsity and a Invitational Varsity, weDO NOTallow UNATTACHED runners. If you wish to have a varsity team in each of the varsity races that is fine but you will have to pay as if you were entering two separate events. Varsity races are allowed to run 10 athletes and unlimited JV entries. The middle school will have a boys and girls 3k race and will be a super qualifier for the middle school state meet. This is separate from the high school sanctioned races which is why it is a separate fee. We will only accept the first 100 high schools & 30 middle schools. There will be no assigned starting boxes; it will be first come first serve. The varsity races will be cut off at 30 minutes. If your athlete gets caught by the following race they will not be in the results. This event will be sanctioned for FL,GA FHSAA and USATF if any teams from other states are interested in coming please let me know so we can get the proper sanctions.

To clarify for your bookkeepers the total will be $90 for a single gender and $170 for a Combined M & F team. This is for high school only.

Online Entry
Registration will be on www.flrunners.com. To be able to register your team, you must pay for your team first in order to get the password to open up the registration. Payments can be made by credit card or check. Checks must be made out to B3R Promotions LLC. Please put an e-mail address and event name (Alligator Lake Invite) on the check note so we know who to e-mail the password too and what event you are paying for. Mail checks to Dusty Smith 9151 NW 40th Street Chiefland, Fl 32626. To pay by credit card please e-mail me for the steps. Registration will end Tuesday, September 22nd at midnight. High School & Middle School coaches please enter your entire roster, not just your Varsity runners. Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick up will start when the course opens Friday at 2p.m. and end at 6 p.m. It will open again Saturday morning at 5:00 a.m. when the gates open. Coaches no checks will be accepted the day of the event since you have to send payment to receive password to enter. Coaches please make sure you get your packets 30 minutes before your race to ensure enough time to get the timing chips signed out and onto your runners shoes. Coaches will be in charge of returning the timing chips back where they picked their packets up.
Timing
HMT will be using the Ipico/ Finishlynx triad chip timing system. There will be mile marker clocks as well as instant results scrolling on the finish line display board. Chipped timed race results will be posted around the park and at www.halfmiletiming.com. Any protested results must be done before 40 minutes after results have been posted!
Team Awards
High School Varsity and Middle School top 2 overall teams Boys and Girls will get custom team awards. Winners will receive a 3ft gator with event logo and runner up will receive a 2ft gator with event logo.

HS Varsity top 10 receive medals
11-50 ribbons.
HS JV top 3 medals 4-25 ribbons

The course is 90% in the shade on nice grass trails around the beautiful Alligator Lake Park. The course will be marked with mile markers as well as kilometer markers. The Course has been the host site of the Alligator Lake run 2008-present, Greater North Florida (Columbia High School) 08,09, 2009 FHSAA 3A District 2, 2011 FHSAA Region 1 1A, 2A & 3A.

Event Shirts
Event shirts will be on sale for $12.00 pre- sale till September 11th 2015. Day of the event will be $15.00 cash $16.00 credit card and in limited quantity at the event .To be guaranteed a t-shirt you can pre order by e-mailing dusty@halfmiletiming.com. Youth sizes will be pre sale only! We will need team name, quantity & shirt sizes.
Order must be sent and paid for by Friday September 11th. No exceptions!!!
Event Lapel Pins
A new item this year for the HMT series lapel pins with the meet logo on them. Great addition to your varsity letter or for that track bag to show off where you have raced. Pins will be $5 cash $6 credit card. You can also pre order these pins with your event t-shirts to be guaranteed a pin. These too will be in limited quantity at the meet so make sure to get yours early.
Parking
There will be a $5.00 per vehicle charge for spectator parking. Team buses and team vans are free, if a parent has an athlete in the car they still have to pay $5. Coaches please make sure your parents are aware of this!
