The GMAC Championship is the largest conference championship in the state and features Miami's best teams. Last week, the qualifiers took place with the south region and north region competing separately for a ticket to this meet on the line. We merged the results and took the top eight to give you an accurate virtual meet of this how one could play out! Take a look!
The quarter of Shammond Williams, Naytron Culpepper, Dawun Hylton, and Ari Cogdell from American High School in Hialeah ran a US#1 3:13.28 in their season debut at the GMAC Championship.
It seems like every week Carlin Berryhill of Coral Reef and Nick Diaz of Miami Sunset are going at it. The GMAC Championships were no different as Berryhill (4:18.80) beat out the UF signee by tenths of a second (4:19.50) in the 1,600m run. Watch our Tasty Race of the Week!
