2015 PONTE VEDRA CRAIG SPEZIALE XC INVITATIONAL

COURSE: This scenic course is very spectator friendly and runs quick (even when wet!).
Entry Fees: $50 per varsity team / $100 for both varsity teams. (JV free with varsity entry fee).
Make checks payable to: Ponte Vedra High School.
Entry fees must be received before race packets will be handed out.
Registration: Teams must register online on flrunners.com. Ultimate Racing Inc. will be providing chip timing with "chip embedded" race bibs for each race participant. We will cap the field at 28 teams per varsity race. Teams may begin registering on June 25th.
Deadline for registering on flrunners.com is Tuesday, September 15th, at 11:59pm.
Scoring: The meet results will be generated electronically.
Schedule: 7:15am Coaches meeting in front of the grand stand bleachers of football field (@ hospitality tent)
8:00am Varsity Boys 5K race
8:30am Varsity Girls 5K race
9:05am JV Boys 5K race
9:40am JV Girls 5K race
Team Awards: 10:30am - Plaques to top two boys and girls varsity teams. Plaques awarded to top boys and girls JV.
Individual Awards: A t-shirt will be awarded to the top ten race finishers. Ribbons will be awarded to the top 25 boys and girls in the Varsity and JV races.
Packet Pick-up: FRIDAY afternoon (SEPT. 18): packets will ONLY be available for pick-up on FRIDAY at the JACKSONVILLE RUNNING COMPANY (JRC) located at: 9823 Tapestry Park Circle #4, Jacksonville, FL 32246 until 7pm that evening.
SATURDAY morning (SEPT 19):
Packets will be available on SATURDAY for pick-up in the concession stand area at Ponte Vedra High School. Please pick-up packets at least 1 hour before your race time on Saturday morning.
Concessions: Chick-fil-a will offer chicken bicuits. Our concession stand will also offer drinks & snacks.
Jacksonville Running Company: Spikes and Training Shoes will be available to your athletes for purchase at the meet sight!
POLAR POD: This "cooling station" will be available to the race participants. It will be located near the finish line. These POLAR PODS have become popular at several triathalons and road races.

Admission: $5.00 Adult, $1.00 for Children and Senior Citizens. Parking is minimal. Please car pool if possible.
Beach Access: If interested, public beach access (Mickler Road & A1A) is a 5 minute bus ride from course.
DIRECTIONS: From North:
I-95 South to St. Augustine Rd EAST
Take a Right on US 1 SOUTH
Veer onto Nocatee Parkway (via the Flyover Bridge) toward Ponte Vedra Beach / Palm Valley
At first light, make a right on Davis Park Road
Drive about 1/2 mile to Ponte Vedra High School
From South:
I-95 North to CR 210 EAST.
Follow CR-210 past four traffic lights (the road name will change to Valley Ridge Road after you pass over US 1).
Then merge right onto Nocatee Parkway EAST toward Ponte Vedra Beach
At first light, make a right on Davis Park Road
Drive about 1/2 mile to Ponte Vedra High School
