Official Meet Information:
Districts Track Meet will be held at Southridge Stadium on April 19th, 2016. Below you will find the information for event assignments and the schedule for the meet. Please remember that your teams will be stopped and checked at the stadium entrance for the District entry list check-off. Anyone that is a team manager will need to be with the coach as the teams enter the stadium. They will not be allowed in without the Head Coach. Teams will enter and sit on the East side of the stadium. The Southridge Park staff will be opening up the west building or bleachers for paying fans to watch the meet. Athletes will not be allowed on the west side of the stadium as this is for paying attendees only. Tents will not be allowed in the bleachers on either side. Tents for teams will be placed in the grass south of the athletes bleachers. Also coaches, make sure you monitor your athletes at all times. They will not be allowed in the school or to re-enter the meet if they are not in uniform. If they leave, they will have to pay to re-enter. Coaches are advised that all FHSAA Track & Field rules will be followed and enforced. If you have any questions please check your FHSAA 2016 Rules Book and bring the question and the book to the coaches meeting. To cut down on confusion, please follow these requests to ensure the safety of the coaches and athletes and the integrity of the meet.

Assignments for the 6 Field events: Long, High, and Triple Jump, Pole Vault, Shot and Discus.
Long Jump- Ferguson and Southwest
Triple Jump- Braddock and Sunset
Pole Vault- Homestead
High Jump- Coral Reef and South Miami
Shot put- Palmetto and Killian
Discus- South Dade and Varela
Hurdle Crew- Southridge

Each School must have 2 coaches available to help run both, Girls and Boys. Please have 2 coaches prepared to help work the event. GMAC is in charge of the event, we are there to assist in moving the meet along. Bring Measuring Tapes, Markers for the field, and anything else you will need to run and officiate your event.

Meet Schedule:
8:15am- Teams arrive for District Entry list check-off and team warm-ups may begin
9:15am Coaches meeting
9:45am- 1st call for Field Events and 4 X 800 Relay
10:00am Field Events:
Girls Discus, TJ, HJ
Boys Shot Put, LJ, Pole vault
Running Final: 4 X 800 Relay

12:30pm- Running Pre-lims

100m Hurdles (Girls)
110m Hurdles (Boys)
100m Dash (Girls followed by Boys)
4 x 100m relay (Girls followed by boys)
400m Dash (Girls followed by Boys)
300m Hurdles (Girls followed by Boys)
200m Dash (Girls followed by Boys)

**Running Finals will be 45 minutes after completion of the Pre-lims.**
