Meet Information
Place: Armwood High School
Time: Field events start at 1:00 p.m. Prelim running events will start at 3:00 pm and finals will start at 5:30 pm. or 45 min after prelims
Entry Limit: 4 athletes per event
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 Relays: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Timing: Finish Lynx fully automatic timing will be used for all races.
Track Conditions: Synthetic rubber surface on track (42" lanes), runways and jumping surfaces - 1/8 inch pyramid spikes ONLY. Spikes will be checked by the clerk of the course. Track marking must be done with half tennis balls, which will not be provided (no tape or chalk). Cement throwing circles.
Starting Blocks: Starting blocks will be provided.
Points of Interest: All field events will be closed after the event is over. No practicing in these event areas will be permitted. Athletes are expected to stay in the visitor bleachers / team camp unless they are competing in an event. No athletes on the infield.
All athletes must stay within the track area; any athlete inside the building will be arrested for trespassing and disqualified from the meet.
Athletes will be given 4 attempts at the following field events (Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus); 3 Attempts at each height for Pole Vault and High Jump.
Advancing to finals: Winner automatically advances, then next best times out of all heats.
Opening heights Pole Vault Girls 6 6; Boys 8 0; High Jump Girls 4 0; Boys 5 2
Water will be provided throughout the track & field areas for all athletes to use.
Qualifying to Hillsborough County Championships: Top 4 athletes/relays for each division in each event will automatically qualify then the next best 4 athletes/relays in each event from the 3 divisions will earn at At Large bid.
Admission Price: $4.00
Food: There will be concessions available.

12:00 PM Weigh-in of Pole Vaulters, shot put, and discus (Brick shed next to home side bleachers)
12:30 PM Coaches meeting (not a scratch meeting) under Press box
1:00 - Field events begin
Boys and Girls Long Jump -Each contestant will get 4 attempts.
Triple Jump will follow Long Jumps-Each contestant will get 4 attempts.
Discus - Girls followed by Boys. Each contestant will get 4 attempts
Shot Put - Boys followed by Girls. Each contestant will get 4 attempts
Pole Vault - Girls followed by Boys. (Starting height will be based on entries received). The bar will be raised in increments of 6".
High Jump - Girls followed by Boys. The 5 alive procedure will be used 4'4" starting height for girls & 5'4" starting height for boys. The bar will be raised in increments of 2"
