Prelims (Girls will run first, then boys) If an event has fewer than 8 competitors there will be no prelims.

* Advancement from prelims to finals will be as follows:
2 heats - winner in each heat and next six fastest times
3 heats - winner in each heat and next five fastest times
4 heats - winner in each heat and next four fastest times
* All field events will be conducted with prelims followed by finals
* It is very important that athletes remain in their lane or stacked position at the end of the event until the Finish Line Judge dismisses them.
* During the meet, if an athlete scratches or fails to show for an event, he/she is disqualified for the remainder of the meet
Reminders for all athletes:
1. Athletes must have shirts and/or jerseys on at ALL times. Jerseys must be tucked in at the start of an event.
2. Athletes are to report to the Clerk of the Course no later than SECOND call.
Any runner or relay team who has not checked in by the third call will be
disqualified. Please note: Once an athlete has reported to the Clerk of Course, he/she should not leave
until they are dismissed by the Clerk to proceed to their race. After leaving
the Clerk of the Course, the runners should proceed to the start location of
their race with hip number in place on left hip (when appropriate). When they
report, they should know their heat and lane assignment
3. All measurements will be in meters and implements must be weighed in at the starting line before competition begins.
4. Pole vaulters must use a pole that is rated at or above their weight. Vaulters are subject to verification of body weight to confirm the proper calibration of their vaulting poles.
Fee: $90.00 per school to help cover timing and officials
Rules: The rules of the FHSAA will be adhered to in all cases.
Scoring: Individuals and Relays 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Restrictions: 1. Four participants per school in all individual events.
2.One relay team per school in all relay events.
3.No contestant shall enter more than four events, the four-event limit includes relays.
4.No protests will be allowed.The decision of the Jury of Appeals will be final.

1. Entries:Entries will be setup and submitted via www.directathletics.com
a.The meet will be setup by Scott Peters at Half Mile Timing on DirectAthletics. You DO NOT need to set the entries up on the website.
b.All competitors entered via Direct Athletics must match exactly with the names submitted to FHSAA.
You are allowed to enter up to 8 entries per relay. This will declare these 8 as
eligible for the relay. This takes the place of relay cards and makes them eligible
for the entire series. This cannot be altered after the District Meet.
