Meet Information
*Schools in 1A District 6:
Village School, Everglades City, Donahue, Seacrest, CSN, SFCA, FBA, MIA, ECS,
Bradenton Christian, St John Neumann, Canterbury, St Stephens, Moore Haven,
Out-of-Door, Sarasota Christian and Imagine School
Registration: You are able to register 10 runners for the district meet.
*Timing: Elite Timing / *Official: Dave Bryan
*Race day details: (This is a normal school day so we will get back to you with more details about parking procedure etc.)
-Coaches' meeting: 8 am
-Girls' race: 8:30 am
-Boys' race: 9:15 am
-Awards: shortly after the boys' race
*Awards: Championship/ Runner up teams will receive a trophy, and there will be ribbons for the top 15 girls and top 15 boys.
*Qualification to regionals: 10 teams will go regardless of
the number of complete teams at the starting line. The top 10 placing
teams and the top 30 placing individuals will advance from districts to
regionals.
*Course preview: This will take place on Tuesday, October 22nd
from 3- 5 pm at SFCA (Southwest Florida Christian Academy- 3750 Colonial Blvd).
Coaches are responsible for their athletes while previewing the course. Course
maps will be provided.
*Rain/inclement weather alternate date: October 26th,
2019
*Course admission (per FHSAA): $6 per person / FHSAA state
series pass allowed at pass gate
