Meet Information
The meet was named in memory of the late Mr. Tommy Lovett Sr, who passed away this past spring, and has left a legacy full of many wonderful accomplishments, particularly in helping sports grow within Highlands County.
WE WILL ACCEPT THE FIRST 7- 8 TEAMS TO RESPOND.
VENUE:
The 5k course is located at the Highlands County Sports Complex.
Address of location: 216 Sheriffs Tower Rd, Sebring, FL 33870
The course is 1.55 mile loop done twice on grass and dirt with a little bit of pavement. It is mostly flat with one small hill, with open space.
FEES: THERE WILL BE NO FEES SINCE IT WILL BE LIKE A QUAD/TRI MEET WITH 7-8 TEAMS.
SCHEDULE:
4:00pm Highlands County Sports Complex is open for Teams to enter.
4:35 Coach's Meeting (at the finish line)
4:45pm Pledge of Allegiance
4:50pm JV Boys 5K (Unlimited entries, times under 35:00)
5:25pm JV Girls 5k (Unlimited Entries, times under 40:00)
6:05pm Boys Varsity Race (Max 10 runners with times under 28:00)
6:35pm Girls 5K Varsity Race (Max 10 runners with times under 33:00)
7:30pm or Sunset: Please depart Complex before this time.
