Meet Information
Spectators, athletes, coaches traveling in personal vehicles: $5 parking fee collected by the park. The only exception is team buses.
Thank you for your interest in the 2nd Annual Julius Tharp Memorial Cross Country Invitational. The event is co-hosted by Gateway HS and Tohopekaliga HS. Varsity races will be run under the lights after sunset. All participants will receive glow sticks and there will be a DJ and food trucks on the premises. Each team will be assigned a tent location along the edge of the football field. This course is a fast double-loop course around the lighted fields. The spectator fee is is $5 at the stadium entrance.
This venue will also serve as the host site for the 4A Region 3 Championships on November 6. The course setup is different however. This meet is not running the same path due to lighting on the wooded side of the course.
5:00pm Central Florida Athletic Association elem / ms XC race
6:15pm coaches meeting
7:00pm Girls Race (Varsity & JV)
8:00pm Boys Race (Varsity & JV)
Awards:
Medals for top 10 athletes and trophies for Varsity team champions and runners-up.
$125 team fee or $100 per gender.
