Registration for this meet will be through Direct Athletics using your Home Campus Rosters.

Cross Country District Meet

Race Information:

Date: 10/30/2021 Saturday

Warm Ups Start at 7:00 am at the stadium

Packet Pick Up at the entrance gate to the course

Course Opens at 7:20 am for athletes and 7:30am for spectators

Coaches Meeting at 8:00am (at finish line)

8:30 am Girls Race

~9:00 am Boys Race (immediately following girls race)

Awards immediately after the last race.

Mogo timing will be timing the races and we will have a meet referee and starter.

Postseason Entries. Postseason Entries must be completed on DirectAthletics by 4:00 PM EST on October 18, 2021.

We will have a lead cart for each race.

We will have a FHSAA Certified Official at the race.

Packet Pick Up will be located at the team entrance gate. You will receive a bib number and chip for all 15 athletes that you entered on your District entry list. A maximum of 10 runners can race per team.

Timing chips must be returned in order. Any missing chips will be $5 per chip and if they are not in order it will be $50, per the timing company.

There will be a trainer on site near the finish line.

Bathrooms are located in the L hallway (access through parking lot between portables/ right outside the entrance gate) as well as 2 portable bathrooms located at the start / finish line

Please maintain social distancing and make sure that your team tent area is set up 10 feet from others. We have room, please spread out.

1 mile and 2 mile will be marked. The 1 mile mark is on a small trail and we ask that no spectators are in this area. Coaches please be aware of space and make sure that the lead cart and the runners have enough room to pass through the mile stations.

Awards will be given to the top 15 individual runners. Trophies will be given to the district champion team and the district runners up.

Spectator Fee: $6 per spectator will be charged for admission to the race. Coaches please have your FHSAA card to waive these fees. Spectators need to stay in the designated spectator areas. Tickets can be purchased here:

Parking: Busses are to park in the bus loop. Cars may park in the gravel lot next to the bus loop or any of the main parking lots at the front of the school.

Advancement:

The first eight (8) placing teams and the top three (3) placing individuals who are not members of an advancing team shall advance to the regional meet. A team is defined as having five (5) or more runners on the starting line and competing. A runner who qualifies as a member of a qualifying team may be replaced in the team lineup by a substitute. The substitute, however, shall not be eligible for individual honors on any subsequent level of competition.
