Meet Information

Hi 4A Region 1 and 1A Region 2 teams. Buchholz is excited to be hosting our Region meet on 11/6 at Santa Fe College. I want to give you some important information regarding the meet.
We will be out setting up the course on Friday, 11/5, for most of the day. If you want to preview the course it will be accessible to you anytime after 3 P.M. The plan is to have your packets and someone will be there from Buchholz until 6:30-7:00. If you come after we are gone you can pick it up after 6:00 A.M. on Saturday morning. The schedule on Saturday is as follows:
Coaches meeting:1A will have their meeting at 7:55am. We will talk about the course, go over the FHSAA guidelines, and selectthe jury of appeals (we will need 5 schools). Hope you all are excited and good luck! Best,

Girls 4A: 8:00 A.M.
Boys 4A: 8:30 A.M.
Girls 1A: 9:00
Boys 1A: 9:30
The 4A awards will be done at 9:30 A.M. and the 1A awards will be done at 10:15 A.M.
There will be a Champion and runner-up trophy given out and medals for the top 15 in each race.
The FHSAA has set up a go Fan site for Buchholz so please let all of your spectators know that it is preferable that they pre-purchase their tickets which are $7 a person. We will have people checking the tickets and if someone would rather pay at the meet, please ask them to bring cash.
The course is in very good shape right now and is hard and dry so it should make for a fast race.
