This meet is not an open meet.
This meet is for Ransom Everglades, Gulliver, Carrollton, Palmer Trinity, Belen, Riviera, and SLAM Palm Beach middle schools only. (Also Ransom Everglades, Coral Gables, and Gulliver High Schools for special events)
Meet Registration:
Registration is on flrunners.
All entries are due by Monday, March 28th @ 11:59pm
No entry limits
Entry Fee:
$100 per school ($50 per gender)
Checks payable to: Ransom Everglades School
Time Schedule:
2:30pm- Coaches Meeting
3:00pm- Field Events (Rolling Schedule)
Javelin for High School (run by Ransom, girls first)
Middle School Girls and Boys Long Jump (girls run by Palmer with help from Riviera, boys run by Belen)
Middle School Coed High Jump (run by Carrollton, different starting heights for girls and boys)
Middle School and High School Coed Pole Vault (run by Ransom)
Middle School Boys Shot Put, followed by Middle School Girls, followed by High School Boys, followed by High School Girls (run by Gulliver with help from Ransom)
Only 3 attempts. In throws, athletes or their coach, will retrieve their own implements.
~4:00pm Middle School Boys Discus, followed by Middle School Girls Discus, followed by High School Boys Discus, followed by High School Girls Discus (run by Ransom)
High School Running Events:
3:15pm- 100m
3:45pm- 1600m
4:30pm- Middle School Running Events (Rolling Schedule)
There will be no clerk of the course to avoid crowding. Heat Sheets will be provided to each coach to share with their athletes. All athletes will report directly to the starting line and should know their heat & lane prior to each race.
Order of Running Events:
100m hurdles
100m dash
1600m run
4x100m relay
400m dash
800m run
200m dash
4x400m relay
There is no clerk tent: For the 100m hurdles, 100m, and 200m, athletes will report directly to the lanes they are assigned at the start of their races. For the circular races (400m, 800m, 1600m, and 4x100m), athletes report to the infield near the 50 yard line to be escorted to lanes.
