Welcome to the Spring Break Invitational Coaches Meeting - Information will be sent out in advance and there will be a quick meeting to answer any questions at the Start Finish line at 8:00 AM. Facilities Track: Brand New 8 - Lane All Weather surface. 3/16 or 1/4" (5 or 7mm) pyramid spikes. 4 Men's and Women's Triple / Long Jump and Pole Vault Pits Running North, South, East and West to avoid cross winds. Hammer, Javelin, Shot Put and Discus will be conducted on the Throws Field which is North East of the Stadium three attempts! Packet pick-up will be available at the South East Entrance of the stadium at 7:00AM. Each team will be supplied with athlete wristbands and coach passes which will be used to gain admittance to the stadium. Athletes must be wearing their wristband to compete. Spectator Entry: Front of the Stadium $10 Admission All teams and athletes must provide their own throwing implements. Teams may put up canopies in a designated team tent area. To ensure a good meet, we ask that athletes remain clear of the infield until it is time to compete. Athletes will be escorted to the track! A warm-up field is available for their use. When entering the track, please be race ready! Athletic trainers will be available on site. Track athletes are required to report to the staging area prior to the final call of their event.. After being checked-in, athletes should remain near the staging area and will be escorted onto the track. Athletes competing in more than one event simultaneously must check in/out with each official to avoid being scratched/disqualified. Order of Events: Field Events: 7:45 AM Hammer (Before Shot and Disc)Both 8:30 AM Long Jump Both 8:30 AM High Jump Boys Then Girls 8:30 AM Pole Vault Girls Then Boys 9:00 AM Discus Girls Then Boys 9:00 AM Shot Boys Then Girls Javelin (After Shot and Disc) Girls Then Boys Running Events will begin at 8:30 AM 3200m 4x800M Relay 100M Hurdles 110M Hurdles 100M Dash 1600M 4 X 100M Relay 400M Dash 400M Hurdles 800M Run 200M Dash 4 X 400M Relay Awards will be presented in the center of the field: Athletes will be asked to report during the 1600M Race for everything prior, During the 800m Race for everything prior and after the 4 X 400M Relay! Families and Coaches will have an opportunity to take pictures of their athletes standing on the podium!
