HIGH SCHOOL MEET INFORMATION

Purpose of the meet: Ability for schools to run as many athletes as possible in consolation races (no standard) or invitational races (with a standard). Ability to race at night with cooler weather for the more elite athletes. To make the meet run smooth and since we are limited in time (evening/night meet) we will NOT be offering every event. That will also make the meet more competitive as those athletes will now race head-to-head. We will have an announcer and music at the meet. Calm and competitive atmosphere. Coach and athlete friendly meet.

Sanctioning: The meet is sanctioned by the FHSAA, and all marks/results count on DirectAthletics and as part of the 5 meet rule for the state series.

Start of the track meet: Field Events 3:30 PM, Running Events 5 PM

Once the meet closes and we have heat sheets we will send out a time schedule for events.

Entry Fee: $150 per gender team ($150 girls team, $150 boys team). Make checks made payable to: Superfly Athletics. Please bring check to the meet

Registration:

Will be on DirectAthletics.com NO CHANGES OR ADDITIONS will take place the day of the meet. You must register by the deadline. Meet information on Flrunners.com

Adaptive Athletes: Please email Ryan Raposo, ryanraposo@gmail.com for manual addition of all Adaptive athletes. Please email the school, student full name, gender, TFRRS#, grade, events, and adaptive classification (either Wheelchair or Ambulatory). Must do so before the deadline. Adaptive events are the 100m and 400m and will take place during consolation races.

Deadline to Register: Thursday, March 9th by 11:59 PM

Registration Divisions: Consolation and Invitational division (with standards). Consolation division is unlimited. Invitational division unlimited (must have met the standard). 4x400m Relay can run A & B team no standard needed. B team non-scored.

Consolation Events: 100m, 1600m, and 400m. Unlimited Entries. No Standard.

Invitational Events Offered: (standards are below); Sprints: 100m, 200m, 400m Distance: 800m, 1600m, 3200m; Hurdles: 100/110m Hurdles; Relays: 4x400m; Field Events: High Jump, Long Jump, Discus, Shot Put, Javelin

Each Athlete that has the marks below in your team can enter and those entries are UNLIMITED everyone that doesn't have that mark can enter in consolation events.

High Jump: 1.32m / 4-4 ; 1.57m / 5-2

Long Jump: 4.57m / 15-0 ; 5.64m / 18-6

Shot Put: 8.53m / 28-0 ; 11.27m / 37-0

Discus: 21.36m / 70-0 ; 27.43m / 90-0

Javelin: 21.36m / 70-0 ; 27.43m / 90-0

Invitational Division Running Cut-Offs: Girls Times ; Boys Times:

100: 14.0 ; 12.0

200: 32.0 ; 25.0

400: 1:11.0 ; 1:02.0

800: 2:50.0 ; 2:25.0

1600: 6:20.0 ; 5:30.0

3200: 14:10.0 ; 11:40.0

100/110 Hurdles: 19.0 ; 18.0

4x400m: No Cut-Off ; No Cut-Off

Notes for Entering:

> If there is a special circumstance where an athlete has hit the mark/time previously, but that performance is not in the DirectAthletics database (but can be verified on flrunners.com), then please email the Meet Director so he can manually enter that athlete.

> Also, if you have a conflict with an athlete not meeting a certain standard (i.e., an elite 1600m athlete does not have an official 3200m time but is capable of hitting the Elite time and you wish to enter that athlete in the 3200m run) then please email the Meet Director so he can verify the athletes capability and manually enter that athlete.

Facility Rule: No Pets, no BBQs or grilling is allowed in the facilities, that is a facility rule. The school building is off limits.

Packet Pickup for Teams: Will be right outside the entrance of the stadium.

Coaches Bands: Coaches you will get your packet right outside the entrance to the stadium. That will have your coaches bands to get into the stadium for free, 4 bands per team. If you need more because you have more coaches, please email me at danny@superflyathletics.com

Team Tent Area: Behind the main grandstand bleachers (behind the finish line bleachers). No Tents in bleachers. Visitors side bleachers (opposite to grandstand) are off limits to tents, that area will be used to throw the javelin. This is a facility rule for 2022-2023.

Restrooms: Can be found behind the concession stands.

Concession Stands: We will have a concession stand at the meet with drinks and snacks. We will also have a food vendor at the event.

Timing: Fully Electronic Timing (F.A.T timing)

Awards: Top 3 overall in each event for Invitational Division will get a medal. Consolation has no awards. We will have no team awards.

Media Coverage: Onsite photo and video coverage will be provided at the meet. Can be seen on flrunners.com

Results: Will be published live under on Flrunners.com (find the meet name/page under calendar), and at the conclusion of the meet on flrunners.com

CLERKING: 100m start area at the Navy Blue Bobcat Tent. Field event athlete clerk at the field event.

INFIELD: Only Coaches with a coaching band. Parents & spectators, the infield is off limits.

TIMING TENT IS OFF LIMITS No parent or coach is to go into the timing tent for issues. If there are any issues please see the meet director (Danny Aguas) at the finish line area.

HYDRATION: Please make sure you remind your athletes to stay on top of their hydration throughout the day.

THROWERS Need to bring their own implements. Competitions do not provide athletes with implements.

4 Jumps / Throws per athlete except HJ which is 3 attempts per height, no finals. Just 1 round.

Field Event Schedule will be released once the meet closes. Field events will start at 3:30 PM

RUNNING EVENTS SCHEDULE: (Timed Finals)

Final schedule will be sent once the meet closes.
