University of Tennessee Teammates Justin Gatlin and Hassaan Stamps, create The National Scholarship Invitational to create collegiate opportunities for High School Track and Field Student Athletes.
Thursday April 7, 2023- American Sprint Great Justin Gatlin and NCAA Champion teammate Hassaan Stamps interviewed with Todd Grasley of DyeStat and RunnerSpace to officially Launch; "The National Scholarship Invitational Powered By NCSA (Next College Student Athlete)". This event will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at beautiful IMG academy in Bradenton, FL. Each year, thousands of High School and Youth Student-Athletes in the sport of Track and Field and Cross Country go unnoticed and unsigned, leaving hundreds if not thousands of scholarship dollars on the table.
The National Scholarship Invitational is the only High School Track and Field Meet in the country designed for athletes to showcase their talents and abilities in front of college coaches that are actively looking to sign student athletes to their rosters, ON THE SPOT!!
All an athlete needs sometimes is an opportunity and The National Scholarship Invitational is THAT OPPORTUNITY, for athletes that really want to run, jump or throw while pursuing an enhanced academic degree. There will be coaches there from the Junior College, NAIA, Division I, II or III Level. We have created a platform that allows athletes a beautifully desperate moment to continue to pursue their academic and athletic careers in a real life now or never moment! Receiving a scholarship can be a life changing and Gatlin wants athletes to have the chance to write their own destiny.
Our Partner, NCSA (Next College Student Athlete) is the industry leader in student-athlete recruitment has Partnered with The NSI (The National Scholarship Invitational) to help educate parents, coaches and student-athletes about the extensive and meticulous college recruiting process. NCSA, will be onsite with recruiting coaches armed with all types of educational materials specifically designed to properly prepare the High School Student-Athlete for a career after High School.
If you are in the class of 2023 and still unsigned, YOU NEED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT! If you are a rising Junior and want to get on a school's radar, YOU NEED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT! If you are a Sophomore or Freshman and want to get some early exposure, YOU NEED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT!
" I want to quantify the access to opportunities for our youth", states Gatlin and this event will do just that.
