Meet Information
The purpose of this throws meet is to provide an additional throwing opportunity to try to qualify for the Florida state middle school championship meet on May 4th at the IMG Academy in Bradenton. Please enter those athletes that are close to the qualifying standard. Recommended minimums for this meet are noted below.

Discus Boys Q Standard = 34m (111ft 5in) Cut off for this meet = 30m
Discus Girls Q Standard = 23m (75ft) Cut off for this meet = 19m
Shot Boys Q Standard = 12m (39ft 4in) Cut off = 10.50m
Shot - Girls Q Standard = 9.25m (30ft 3in) Cut off = 8m

Discus and shots will be provided if needed
Results will be published on Flrunners.com and Athletic.net post meet.
Boys and Girls discus is 1k
Boys shot is 4k
Girls shot is 6lb (2.7k)
All implements will be inspected for according to USATF rules and must be clearly marked by the manufacturer as to correct weight. Unsafe or unmarked implements will be impounded for duration of the meet.
USATF rules will govern and meet will be officiated by a USATF official
