We are pretty swamped right now trying to keep up with all of the district and region results coming in. But WOW! this sure got our attention! After leading her team to first in the 4x800 (9:46), the Fluehr sisters battled only themselves in the 1600 and 3200 and man did they push the pace. While many others might ease up into "qualification mode" until state, they didn't. Kathryn swept both events going 4:54.38 and 10:18.29 with her sister, Erika, just behind in 4:54.89 and 10:31.51. Kathryn's 3200 time places her #2 in the nation this season and Erika's is the eight fastest in the US so far this year. The 1600 times are also top ten in the US this year and #2 and #3 in Florida (behind Shelby Hayes). Nice job ladies!
