Meet Registration 

Meet registration will be done on Direct Athletics - Meet entries are due by April 12th at 11:59 PM 

(a) Late Edits. Edits to entries may be made for a $250 fee after the initial entry deadline on April 22, 2024, between 12pm and 6pm EST via DirectAthletics. Fees will be assessed on a per school/sex basis. (b) To be eligible for the state series, a student-athlete must be listed on the Postseason Entries and the Postseason Entries must be submitted by the deadline.

Venue Information 

* Spectators will be located in the west stands, teams will be located on the east stands * * Athletes will not be allowed on the infield at any time * 

General Meet Information 

* All NFHS and FHSAA rules will be in effect; please make sure all athletes are in compliance. * The Champion and Runner-up Boys and Girls teams will receive trophies. 

* The top eight (8) places score for all eighteen (18) events: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 * The top four (4) individuals and relays from each event will advance to the Region Championship on Tuesday, May 7th at Calvary Christian Ft. Lauderdale 

General Meet Schedule 

Running Event Regulations - * All running finals will be contested in the following order: 2A-15 Girls, 2A-15 Boys, 1A-16 Girls, 1A-16 Boys. The exception is for the hurdling events which will be contested in the following order: 2A-15 Girls, 1A-16 Girls, 2A-15 Boys, 1A-16 Boys. 

* In all running events where there are multiple heats, the slower heats will be contested before the faster heats. * Lapped competitors in the 1600m and 3200m runs can finish their race, but must run in lane 3. 

Field Event / Area Responsibilities - Field Event Regulations 

* Reminder, that running events take precedence over all other events; athletes cannot make-up a race if they miss their heat. Additionally, vertical jumping events take precedence over all other field events; for pole vault and high jump, the bar does not lower once it has been raised to a new height.

* Field Events judges will use professional discretion in allowing athletes to check-in and out from their field events to attend other field events or running events that are being conducted at the same time. * Reminder, it is up to the discretion of the field event judge, to change the order of competitors to accommodate for an athlete that has left to compete in another event. * The throws and horizontal jumps will each receive 4 attempts per event* * The rubber tip on javelins are required *
