5th Annual Eye of the Storm Distance Showcase
This Event will take place on Friday, December 4th, 2026 @ Celebration High School. The venue to close to the WDW resort, and other area attractions. End your XC season and try to establish a new PR on the track just in time for the indoor season!
* This is a post-season meet opportunity for ALL distance runners. It would present a unique opportunity to set a 5K PR on the track but also offer you a preview for your future track season.
* Note: This event is open to adults, high school runners, college runners, middle school runners, elementary and alumni. All individuals will run unattached and is open to anyone that is looking to have some fun doing what you love
* This event is Not affiliated with the FHSAA. No school uniforms are permitted
* All entry fees are paid on site upon arrival. Entries will close on December 3rd at 8pm. The entry fee will be $25 Dollars per athlete (Unlimited races).
You may pay $26 via Venmo, CashApp, Apple pay or Zelle. Please contact Donald (coach_lamb@yahoo.com) prior if you would like to prepay with any of those methods.
Cash on race day is preferred.
Racing Schedule (Schedule will be a rolling schedule and heats will go fastest to slowest). Start time may be adjusted depending on # of entries and we want athletes to be recovered enough so that they may put their best performance forward.
Gates open at 5, races start at 530.

Order of events: 800m - 1600m - 3200m - 5km - 400m
Heats will be determined based on entered times. Boys & Girls will run together based on seeding not on gender or age level. The number of athletes per heat will be adjusted to keep all athletes safe and so that the timer will be able to get an accurate count on splits for each lap
