When the Bob Hayes Invitational kicks off this weekend one of the top stars in the field events will be Raines senior Nazah Reddick. Reddick, will be competing her fourth and final time at the meet and brings the best mark of all 2A in the long jump and second best in the high jump. We caught up with the 2016 New Balance Nationals emerging elite high jump champion about her 2017 season, what she loves about the Bob Hayes, and more.

2A Boys Team Scores: Nobody Will Stop These Tornadoes Todd Grasley Jan 28, 2014

Jacksonville will be under a Tornado watch during the 2A state meet and I'm not talking about inclimate weather. The boys from Booker T. Washington in Miami come in as heavy favorites. As you may recall, it came down to the 4x400 meter relay for this team in 2013, and a second place finish in thar race, put them one point behind Lakewood and as the 2A runner-up.

Raines High School senior Kortney Gray has been a versatile athlete for Coach James' Day's squad. Over her high school career she has competed in the sprints, jumps, and has even registered stats in the 800 and 5000 meter runs. As a junior, Gray finished 4th in the triple jump and 8th in the long jump at the FHSAA 2A Outdoor State Finals. Recently, she announced her college decision.
