Get on US 17 South and go until you get to CR 542--turn left (east). Follow CR 542 east for about a mile until the road kind of splits

From South (Miami, West Palm, Fort Myers): Get on US-27 North. Go through Lake Wales, Florida and turn left onto CR 540 (to Cypress
Gardens). This road will take you past Cypress Gardens into the main strip of Winter Haven. Turn right on 6th Ave. and go to CR 542 and turn right. Go right for just a few blocks before turning left to go around the lake onto Lake Elbert Dr. Look for PCC on your left (as opposed to in the lake!).
Course Overview:
The course starts out with a short grass straitaway and then runners
head right and onto an apparently defined orange clay trail. The runners
seldom diverge from this yellow path, which goes around a huge grass field
and baseball field next to the parking lot at PCC. They follow this path
around the field, making two loops...on the third loop they will cross
the street. Here they will make a loop around the new softball complex
and accross a grass field (sometimes high grass, the only slow part of the course)
before recrossing the street, and coming back around on the orange clay trail
through a herd of cheering fans to the final straitaway.
The course is very fast. The clay trail offers excellent rebound and stiff competition futher adds to the quickness of the times. The course is wheeled and accurate at 3.0 miles.
Observation:
This course is ideal for fans and coaches, as it is set over a large open field.
One could watch almost the entire place from one strategic location.
Parking:
Parking facilities are directly adjacent to the field, and are plentiful.
