Yes, South Florida Has Speed, But Don't Sleep On Dr. Phillip's Alvin Bryant Todd Grasley Feb 23, 2016

While the South Florida sprinters were shining at the Louie Bing Classic, defending 4A 100m runner-up, 200m state champion, and LSU signee Alvin Bryant was making his own splash at the National Training Center in Clermont. The Panthers standout hopped on the same track that some of the world's best athletes train on with Lance Brauman and his Pure Athletics, Adidas based sprint group and clocked a US#4 and state leading 10.54.

Riverview sophomore Bailey Hertenstein is picking up right where she left off after claiming the 4A Cross Country Finals state championship in the fall. In a weekend, where sprints dominated the headlines, Hertenstein ran 5:06.60 the second fastest time and followed that up with a state leading 10:53.70 in the 3,200m. We combined the results from every meet around the state and rank the top 25 girls in EVERY EVENT. Who Won The Week? Boys All-State Results Merge Todd Grasley Feb 22, 2016

Coral Reef senior Carlin Berryhill and Charlotte's Marshall Dillon went down to the wire 9:30.93 and 9:30.94  at the Louie Bing Classic to finish with the top 3,200m times of the weekend. Berryhill also posted the third fastest time in the 1,600 in the state (4:24.15). We combined the results from every meet around the state and rank the top 25 boys in EVERY EVENT. Tyrese Cooper has one goal in mind every time he steps on the track and that is to break records. The freshman national record holder in the 60, 200, and 400m indoors, is hoping to duplicate that success on the outdoor oval. He told me before the 2016 Louie Bing Classic he had been waiting for this meet, his high school debut, for the longest of times. This weekend at Tropical Park he didn't disappoint improving his prelim times and going 10.57, 20.68, 46.34, to complete the sprint sweep! WATCH this sprint sensation "smoke" the competition!
