Boys

Leon Covington (Lakeland) doubles for wins in the 100 and 200, 10.67/21.37. Mario Picket of Jones High took the 400 in a new PR time of 47.51. Recent Winter Park grad Caleb Vogt lapped all but one finisher on his way to a commanding 8:46.13 victory in the 3000 meters. Jeffrey Julmis took the 110H in a wind legal 13.87. Orlando Evans wrapped up the sprint relays with 41.93/3:18.68 wins in the 4x100 and 4x400. Andre' Leshore earned the triple jump title with an impressive 48-4.5.

Girls

Kristine Scott of Orlando Olympia took second place in the 100 with a time of 11.76--Kimberly Hyacinthe of Quebec took first in the 100 and 200. Scott also took 4th in the 200 with a time of 24.38, in front of her were felow O-Town natives Odeika Bent and Tatianna Fisher (both of Oak Ridge) with times of 24.21 and 24.36. Jazmyn Shorter of St. Pete Lakewood won the 400 in 55.09. University of Tennessee bound Jackie Areson won the Mile in 5:04.83. Sklyer Wallen of Miami Northwestern took second in the 800 (2:13.01) behind Latavia Thomas of Pennsylvania. Teona Rodgers (Wharton, 14.27) edged Brianna Johnson (Winter Park, 14.35) in the 100H against the wind. Miami Northwestern won the 4x400 easily in a quick 3:44.83. Daisy Glasser of Jacksonville Episcopal earned the PV victory even with her PR at 12-6. Christina Rapheal of Miami Northwestern won the shot with a throw of 39-11.75.
