Hey you guys I missed you so much. It's Kali back at the blogging thing again. Let’s talk about New York. It was freezing cold and on top of that it was snowing. I know you guys want to know about the false start. Well first off I was so ready for the 60m semis physically and mentally. I did my pre-race starts and everything, about like five minutes later I’m in the blocks. I can hear the starter say one run out so I go out feeling likeI’m ready. Then he say “on your mark,SET,POW”! I felt like I had the best start of my life then I hear the second gun. The first thing I think in my head “oh it wasn’t me I am good”. The next thing I know I see the official come in lane four (my lane) and all I can feel is pain as tears swell in my eyes then I hear so many “boo’s “in the stands. I tried to protest it. That didn’t work, but I couldn’t even sweat it for too long because I had the 200 finals! 200 finals come around and I’m ready. Me and my girl Arianna (Washington) were talking about going 1,2 and that’s what we did.
This weekend was a county meet. That’s when all the schools come together and run or have like a race off. Man, why couldn’t anybody tell me running six races in one day would have a tired as life. 100,4by1, 200 prelims and finals, child I was beat. Our 4x100 meter relay dropped the baton on the first exchange. I don’t even know to this day what happened, but we are going to fix it. I ran 11.56, 23.81. I was happy because this is the fastest I've ran in a season opener.
An unknown fact about me is that I love to cook. Everybody keeps asking me about where I get my food ideas from. Well to be honest some of them come from foodnetwork.com and some just comes from the things that im craving and then I find a way to put it all together. If you would like to know the recipes just follow me on instagram at LADYEMON876. Peace love and track and field. Be breezy.
