Kerrison Keeping In Shape Over Summer

Jones class of 2014 standout Stefani Kerrison has had a busy summer. After claiming the 2A state title in the 100 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 13.86 and second in the 300 hurdles she didn't stop competing and training. Kerrison then competed at the Golden South Classic, AAU Junior Olympic Qualifier in Jacksonville, and most recently at the World Youth Trials Qualifier in Illinois. Her third place finish saw her just miss out on a trip to Donetsk, Ukraine for the World Youth Championships. Most athletes might hang in the towel and take a couple of weeks off of training, but not Kerrison. She is working with the Star Athletics group in Montverede which consists of elite and professional athletes. We caught up with her at a recent workout to talk about her success at the World Youth Trials, training, and the 2014 season.
