In addition to the great teams entered in the Race of Champions, we allow individuals whose teams did not get seeded into the ROC or are not attending. We are very strict with this seeding process. Athletes must have achieved or be on the verge of achieving a sub-16 time for boys or a sub-19 time for girls. Generally we want atheltes competing with their teams, but we also want to see the best of the best going head-to-head... and we know you all love to see that too! It's one of the most exciting things each year to see how these individuals step it up when given this big opportunity to be pushed and pulled by the rest of the state's elites!
