4A Region 1
Looking at the girls' race individually you have a few top notch athletes who look to be top ten state medalists. Leading the group is a girl who appears to be back in her best form ever, Emily Headley of Olympia, who was fourth at last year's state meet and was a runner-up as a freshman. She's broken the 19 minute barrier for five consecutive meets and currently leads the FACA 4A Girls State Rankings after a monster district meet, but don't think this will be a runaway effort for her.
