There are two major (rival) indoor track & field national championships this weekend. Nike Indoor Nationals will take place in Landover, Maryland. The National Scholastic Indoor Championship will take place in New York City. Quite a few Floridians are making the trip to one of the two destinations and we have the entry list of all the high school athletes from Florida entered.
Top girls names that are Nike Indoor bound include Teona Rodgers, Katie Traylor, Ashley Brasovan, Kayla Hale, Emily Houston, Latoya Parkinson, Dina Emde, Adrianna Hill, and Episcopal HS. They will be joined in Maryland by the likes of Harry Adams, Chris Ward, Joe Franklin, Kevin Harley, Alex Wills, Tyler Greathouse, Jarius Cooper, Anthony Morales, CJ Lockhart, and others. At NSIC Alexandia Crabb, Jazmyn Shorter, Marc Gomez, Daisy Glasser, Kaitlin Shiver, and others round out the field from Florida.
We will have comprehensive on-site coverage including video, photos, and interviews via the MileSplit Network's five-person team at Nike Indoor Nationals. We will not have a team on site at NSIC, but we should hopefully have photos submitted from some of the coaches and parents from that meet to post.
