3A was arguably the most difficult classification for girls last cross country season. Five of the top six girls graduated making the fight for the top spot a tad easier. That lone returner is Fort Walton Beach junior Emma Rudman who was tenth as a freshman and sixth in 2013. Rudman is coming off a fantastic track season winning the 3A state championship in the 3200 (10:55.52) and finishing as the state runner-up in the 1600m (4:53.46). If it comes down to a kick, advantage Rudman. Her personal best of 18:19.81 is over ten seconds faster than the rest of the classification.
