Naples senior Tyler Byrd cleared 24 feet at the Inaugural Jim Smith Invitational in mid March last year and was runner-up at the 3A state meet after winning it all as a sophomore. Byrd, a University of Miami commitment for football is also one of the top cornerbacks in the nation.
