Pine Crest freshman Mahdere Yared saved her best races for the right time of the year. Yared, dropped four seconds off her time at regionals to finish 7th at the Cross Country Finals in 18:25.18. Along with her sister Tsion, who is one year older , the pair give Pine Crest a formidable 1-2 punch and shot to repeat in 2A.
