Florida packed a one-two punch in the 17-18 AAU Junior Olympic Games Decathlon. George Jenkins' William Ott and First Academy Alex Shields tried their hand at the multi-event competition and showed what Florida was made up of at the national level. Ott finished with a total 6398 points with Shields right behind with 6384 points.
Sunshine state athletes are not quite done with their track season just yet. Many competed at the USATF Junior Olympic Championships as well as begun the AAU Junior Olympic Games this weekend. Here is how they performed.
