St. Thomas Aquinas sprint duo, Zatoria Thompson and Jermecia Brown, recently announced their commitments to Auburn and Penn State following graduation in 2020.
Thompson and Brown are two of STA's key sprint and field athletes heading into the 2020 track season. They also happen to be two of the few athletes that have committed to schools outside of the state of Florida so far this recruiting season.

The two battled it out in the 100m at the 2018 FHSAA 4A State Finals and packed a one, two punch with Thompson taking the win with an 11.62 and Brown in second in 11.81.
In that 2018 state meet with only individual events alone, the two brought home a whopping total of 44 points.
Thompson, who will continue for Auburn come 2020, battled an injury last season, but still managed top high jump performances up until the regional meet where her season came to a halt.

Brown, who will compete for Penn State in 2020, helped carry the STA team last season with a third place 100m state finish and significant roles on relay legs.
Both ladies have big goals for their upcoming senior season as they make their quest for STA's third consecutive team title.
