Niceville High School has some special going on with their throws crew as they had three different athletes record the best marks of the week in Florida in three different throwing events. Their trifetca of excellent included Nathan Stepp with a school-record throw in the javelin with a state best of 52.60 meters (172'6"), Ben Miazga launching a substantial PR of 55'10" to become the state leader in the shot put, and Massimo Grisotto recording Florida's second-best mark of the season in the discus at 145'0.25" at Saturday's Viking Pre-Season Classic in Fort Walton Beach.
