The Set Goals No Limits Distance Showcase was a smashing success this past Friday at Satellite High School. We have another elite and high-caliber meet for the distance stars of Florida to attend this weekend in the first annual Dunbar Tigers Classic in Fort Myers.
The meet within the high school-sanctioned meet is hosting elite open/unattached races at the mile and 3200-meter distances. Some of the top names already entered in the elite boys and girls mile fields listed below.

Sub 5 in the girls' mile certainly could and should happen, while the boys field will have great depth to push for a sub 4:10 winner among the group and a large number of finishers well under 4:20.
Meet registration is still open for the elite open/unattached mile and 3200 races till 10 PM on MileSplit.com here. The rest of the meet and sanctioned high school portion registration must be done on Direct Athletics here.
Outside of the elite mile races though the actual meet itself will be incredibly high quality with several high-powered programs from Southeast Florida making the trip across I-75 into Fort Myers on Saturday including St. Thomas Aquinas, Miami Northwestern, Miami Southridge, Christopher Columbus, and Belen Jesuit.
The sprints, hurdles, and relays will all be stacked with names such as Leonard Mustari, Eddiyah Frye, Ladarius Tellis, Lucheyona Weaver, Antonio Spencer, Alexis Glasco, Sean Watkins, Aaliyah Butler, and Kahneil Budham among others certainly to be late adds before the entries close and finalize on Thursday!
